A very good lecture halls with necessary furniture, well equipped laboratories for research and M.Sc. practical work are available in the Department. Air Conditioned college Seminar hall accommodating 100 students with Public Address System & Power Point Presentation facility is also available in the Department. Over head projectors, LCD Projectors and Computers/Laptop are being used for effective teaching programme.

Fully equipped molecular biology and genetic engineering laboratories are also available in the Department. UV visible Spectrophotometer, refrigerated centrifuges, laminar flow, blotting units, deep freezer, microscopes, polarimeter, ovens, thermostatic water baths, transilluminator, PCR, orbital shaker, electrophoretic apparatus, flame photometer, chromatographic units, electronic balances, incubators, colorimeters, autoclaves, homoginizers, distillation apparatus, deionizer and other basic equipment needed for biochemistry practical and research work are available in the Department.

The Departmental library is having 600 text books and 304 back volumes. A good number of reference books and journals are available in the library is located in the premises of the Department.The Department has also been given internet facility.
